St. John's Sunday School provides children (3 years old through 6th grade) to gather together to learn about the Love of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ! The children learn through story, activity pages, crafts and song.

Children gather every Sunday during the school year beginning the Sunday after Labor Day (Rally Day) throughout the school year, concluding with a "Celebration at Towne Park" held on the Sunday before the Memorial Day Holiday. Refer to the Children's Ministry Events Calendar, for specific weekly dates.
Sunday School meets Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m. following the 9:00 am Sunday Service.
St. John's incorporates Concordia Publishing House's Growing in Christ Sunday School curriculum. The study series is outlined like a real bible study, incorporating Law and Gospel. The lessons are also age-appropriate for the varying levels of understanding.
Our youngest followers enjoy learning along with Sprout and Lily. These delightful and engaging puppets invite students into the lesson through the introduction or application of the Bible story. Sprout, the little boy, charms your Early Childhood students (ages 3-5, Preschool & Kindergarten), while Lily is a little girl who is a joy for students in Lower Grades (ages 5-7, Grades 1-2).
Our older followers (ages 8-12, Grades 3-6) enjoy a more challenging lesson plan that includes take home materials and workbooks. Students dig deep into each Bible story and discover what life was like in Bible times as they learn more about the land, tools, and culture.
